Product Description

General Description
In Lost foam casting process and Vacuum process foundry, dry sand is used for molding sandbox. It is recycled after cleaning and cooling through sand processing system.

After pouring and cooling, the flask will be delivered to turnover position, turnover machine will turn flask automatically. After turnover, castings will stay on the screen plate, and taken out by crane to the fettling area. Meanwhile the sand will fall into shakeout hopper and flow into sand processing system to cool, dust remove, magnetic separator, clean and convey.

1. Shakeout grate and sand hopper

This equipment is mainly used for collecting sand after turnover.

Work principle: after flask turnover, castings will stay on the screen plate, meanwhile the sand will fall into shakeout hopper.
 
2. Double layer vibrating sieving conveyor

The equipment is mainly used for conveying bonded sand, hot used sand, broken stone and coke, the slot is closed completely to achieve sealing dust removal.
 
3. Plate chain elevator

The chain elevator is one of the vertical conveying equipment which is widely used in casting industry. The traction part adopts plate chain which can not only lifts powder, granular, and block materials, but also can lift big friction material. It is used coordinating with the belt conveyor, then can form various type conveying system.
The equipment is with small driving power, low energy consumption. Compared with same chain bucket elevator, the consumption power is only 1/3-1/2 of it. The housing adopts pressure tight knot, good rigidity, nice appearance.
In case of blocking, the material should be magnetic separated, broken, and sieved first, and then be conveyed uniformly to bucket elevator by feeder or belt conveyor. The feeding coal can not be more than the maximum conveying capacity.

4. Magnetic seperator

Through type magnetic separatorIt is mainly used for magnetic separation of ferromagnetic materials in granular powder materials. The ferromagnetic materials in the selected materials are enriched by dry separation method. In the foundry industry, it is mainly used for magnetic separation of ferromagnetic materials in molding sand.
Working principle: this machine USES permanent magnetic material as magnetic source.In the magnetic field on the surface of the roller, the material is separated by the action of magnetic force and mechanical force on the particles. When the selected material passes through the magnetic field, due to the difference in magnetic force between magnetic particles and non-magnetic particles, different running trajectories are generated.Magnetic particles are adsorbed on the surface of the drum, and fall with the drum to the non-magnetic area, and are discharged from the magnetic material bucket, while non-magnetic particles are thrown forward by centrifugal force, and discharged from the non-magnetic material bucket.

5.Vertical cooler

The hot sand enter into vertical cooler through above inlet, the hot sand would move slowly in the vertical cooler and cooling water could go through the pipelines in the cooler,there a temperature detector, until the hot sand arrive the target temperature, then the sand would leave the sand cooler.
The device can perfectly realize the effect of cooling effect, no energy consumption and very environmentally friendly.we can ensure the temperature of sand would no more than 45ºC.

6. Belt elevator

This equipment is one kind of vertical conveying device which is widely adopted in mechanical casting workshop. It mainly used to lift used sand, waste sand, new sand and clean shot.

Advantages: small size, less floor space, large lifting height, less weight, gearing steady, reliable and long lifetime.
