Product Description

Complete Lost foam casting system is used to produce various metal castings by lost foam process. The equipments line produces various castings such as motor body, cylinder head, complicated pipe fittings, shell, housing, engine block etc. The castings produced by our lost foam casting equipment are available in various industries, such as engineering machinery, textile machinery, building automobile production etc.

 Lost-foam casting process (LFC) is a green and environmental casting method.
 The process is assembling the foam patterns which has same size and shape with casting into cluster, after coating and drying, embedded into the dry sand and compacted by vibration table, the pouring under negative pressure to decompose the pattern, after solidification - the casting is formed.
It is a type of evaporative-pattern casting process that is similar to investment casting except foam is used for the pattern instead of wax. This process takes advantage of the low boiling point of foam to simplify the investment casting process by removing the need to melt the wax out of the mold.

Main processing area 
There are three main process area which are called White area, Yellow area and Black area, to form a complete lost foam casting production line.

White area is mainly used to form the foam mold.

Mold production (Pre-foaming ---- Aging storehouse ---- Moulding ---- Drying) ----- Assembly into cluster.

Function:
This area is the main part in a lost foam casting production line. The main function is to form the metal casting. This part includes Smelting area, Molding area, Pouring area, Fettling area, Sand processing area.
